The Fresno Chapter of the California Restaurant Association announced its first-ever public event, honoring restaurant, restaurant and bar workers on Monday, May 16 from 5-10 p.m. at the Solitary Cellars Wine Company in Friant.
The event, which aims to recognize and show appreciation for restaurant, restaurant and bar employees, will feature local bands, Pardini’s white-glove catering service, VIP cabanas as well as a kitchen food trucks and local breweries and wineries.
In addition to the event, the public will have the opportunity to nominate and vote for Fresno-area restaurant employees to receive a prestigious Pineapple Award. Bartenders, chefs and servers are just some of the 13 categories that will receive the award.
The event will also feature a 25-team corn-hole tournament, with participants receiving raffle tickets for giveaways.
The focus of the event is unique, as it focuses on employees, a stone’s throw from the California Restaurant Association’s (CRA) Best of The Valley awards dinner, which focuses solely on the establishment.
“We are thrilled to host the event with our presenting sponsor, Fresno/Clovis Convention and Visitors Bureau,” said Raul Gutierrez, CRA Fresno Chapter President. “We invite all of our industry employees, owners and suppliers, and the public to come out and support this event.”
Sponsorships are currently available, with tickets for the event available this Friday starting at $60 for ARC members and $75 for non-members.
