An “Earn While You Learn” opportunity for young people

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Project YouthBuild is hosting a Summer Bash and Application Blitz event on Thursday, July 28 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event will be held at their campus located at 635 NW 6th Street and will have a free barbecue, prizes, the opportunity to tour the YouthBuild project, and staff will be available to assist with applications for the 2022 school year- 23. The first ten young people to complete their file will have the opportunity to participate in a draw

Project YouthBuild is a 9-month “earn as you learn” program designed to help students graduate from high school, prepare for careers, and give back to their communities. All students receive case management support, career readiness training, leadership coaching, hands-on learning, and comprehensive support services.
