Intuit adds Quarium as an authorized cloud hosting provider

Quarium, a dedicated cloud hosting service for QuickBooks created by Fishbowl, is now a Intuit Certified Host. The program approves hosting companies as safe, with appropriate security measures in place to protect hosted data.

Cloud hosting programs allow users to install their licensed copies of QuickBooks desktop software on servers in a remote hosting facility and then access that software over the Internet on a virtual desktop through a connection. secure and a web browser. They eliminate the need for companies to maintain their own servers and allow companies to continue using desktop products if they wish. With Intuit certification, the host server locations as well as the hosting software are verified to ensure proper security.

Quarium offers a client portal, allowing QuickBooks users to switch between clients without having to go through the hosting company to access it every time they work on QuickBooks. It provides single authorization for authorized users to access anywhere and anytime.

“We are thrilled to be added as an Intuit Authorized Hosting Partner,” Fishbowl CEO John David King said in a statement. “Fishbowl has been closely associated with Intuit for many years and Quarium is another important step in providing joint solutions for the SMB market.”

Quarium provides 24/7 support, as well as data encryption on dedicated servers. To learn more, visit
