LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Amazon Web Services went down on Tuesday morning, affecting users around the world who could not access certain services and websites.
According to a message posted by AWS at 8:22 a.m. (PT), the company “was investigating increasing error rates for the AWS Management Console.”
Down Detector, a website that tracks issues online, shows the issue peaked around 9 a.m.
The outage impacted Amazon’s web hosting platform, removing Netflix, Disney +, and Venmo.
McDonald’s, Tinder, and even the Associated Press have all died out.
Ticketmaster, which had just pre-sold Adele’s new Las Vegas residence tickets, broke down, forcing the ticket vendor to delay ticket sales for four hours.
According to Stocking detector, other websites with issues include Ring, Alexa, Doordash, instacart, Vanguard, Spotify, and Cash App.
